Even if the ticket is too dear or you can’t take the month off, you can still soak up the sights of crazy-happy Brazilian neighborhoods all dressed up for World Cup 2014.

Consider Google Maps Street View your guide to a virtual tour of the home base of the most successful national team in FIFA World Cup history.

Rua Cafe Filho

Rua Cafe Filho's street and sky dazzle in Brazil's ubiquitous yellow, green and bright blue.

"Every four years, Brazilians come together to show their love for all things soccer by painting their streets," Google notes in this special collection. This year, the locals are "sharing it with the world" in a new YouTube video, the site adds.

"Brazil's Painted Streets" is splashed with exuberant, gorgeously colored displays of local soccer/futbol/football pride: local and national players, balls, flags, stars, fantastic figures, and—everywhere—washes of Brazilian blue, green and yellow.

Rua Astrapéia

The family of former soccer player Denner Paulino Barbosa lives on this street in Rua Astrapéia. His family helps organize the community to paint and decorate this and other streets, according to Google Maps.

The collection is growing constantly (and that was even before Brazil took Croatia 3-2 on Thursday).

So, enjoy! Just don't bet more than you can afford to lose.

Rua Limão Natal

This street in Rua Limão Natal "has been traditionally painted in a beautiful array of colors for the games since 1994," reports Google Maps. "The entire community helps, from neighbors to local artisans to graffiti artists."
