PPG Names Industrial Coatings VP

Pittsburgh, PA-based PPG Industries has announced a new vice president for its global industrial coatings business.

Shelley J. Bausch will join the company to fill this role, effective Jan. 16, the coatings giant announced Monday (Jan. 6). She will report to Viktor Sekmakas, executive vice president.

25 Years of Experience

Bausch previously worked as the business vice president of finished products for Dow Corning, where she started her career in 1988. In this role, she oversaw more than 1,000 employees and 15 plants serving international clients and delivering over $2 billion in external sales, according to PPG.

Shelley J. Bausch will join PPG as the VP of the global industrial coatings business, effective Jan. 16.

She also served as Dow Corning's global executive director and spent two years in Shanghai as global director, paper industry, and as the Greater China leader, process and performance industries.

Bausch holds a bachelor's degree in biology and business administration from Alma College and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

"We are delighted to welcome Shelley to PPG," Sekmakas said. "Her broad experience in leading global businesses and her strong background in supply chain operations, marketing and product management will be assets to the industrial coatings business and PPG."
