A new fall arrest system combines a pneumatic tool air hose with a fall protection system that complies with Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards.
The system, MAX X-Line, is a product of a partnership between USP Structural Connectors, a MiTek Industries company, and Super Anchor Safety.

In addition to OSHA compliance, the companies said the system can reduce jobsite tripping hazards by eliminating the presence of a pneumatic air hose in addition to a lifeline.
The MAX X-Line can be clipped to a USP permanent, gasketed anchor that is attached to the structure's framing.
The lifeline material is made of 12-strand blue polyester with an abrasion resistant coating and its capacity is 310 pounds of user weight with a breaking strength of a minimum of 5,000 pounds, according to Super Anchor.
