A new heat-resistant coating for a variety of metal applications is the latest offering from Flame Control Coatings.
TemperKote 14105 can withstand temperatures up to 1400°F while providing a corrosion- and chemical-resistant finish, the company says.
Flame Control Coatings is a New York-based manufacturer of flame-retardant and heat-resistant paints and coatings.
The coating is approved by the Army Research Lab for Mil Spec MIL-PRF-14105, according to the company.
In addition to military applications, TemperKote 14105 has also been used in heavy equipment, industrial manufacturing and automotive applications.
TemperKote 14105 is a low-VOC coating that is free of hazardous air pollutants, the manufacturer says..
