Elcometer Inc., a global provider of coatings inspection equipment and software, has capped and gowned its customer training and support component with a wide-ranging new website known as Elcometer University.

Built initially around Elcometer’s line of coatings inspection equipment, the “University” is an online repository of interactive tutorials, field videos, and technical and product information, designed for current and prospective customers.
The site includes:
• Product videos, information and tutorials;
• Software downloads;
• Technical articles; and
• Information on SSPC’s “Paperless QA” Course.
Assisting End Users
“This outreach effort was initiated as a means of ‘cementing’ our commitment to our partnership with our customers,” said vice president Joe Walker. “Our number-one priority is assisting the end users of our products with the knowledge they need to utilize our gauges to the fullest extent possible.”
The site provides “tools to reap the maximum benefits from our product lines,” Walker said.
With seven offices worldwide, UK-based Elcometer manufactures and supplies inspection equipment to the coatings industry and designs and develops new products for the coatings and concrete inspection industries.
