Company Profile
Corrosion Probe, Inc. was founded in 1984 and since has consistently grown both in size and capability, starting out in corrosion control design, testing, and inspection services; hence their name. Subsequently, CPI's capabilities have evolved to include metallurgical engineering and failure analysis, cathodic protection design and stray current corrosion testing, civil/structural design engineering and analyses, mechanical engineering and testing, concrete and cementitious materials engineering/testing services, FRP design and inspection, masonry design and testing, welding inspection, and nondestructive examination (NDE) and testing capabilities. We routinely provide quality control and quality assurance services in all the technical areas listed above and in other construction areas. Other QC/QA areas include piping, tanks, FRP (and other plastics), paint protective coatings, roofing, grouting (equipment), and waterproofing. Through performing our QC/QA services on large industrial construction projects, our staff has acquired broad based experience managing QA and interfacing with other QA disciplines.
Also, CPI is pleased to announce that we have acquired Corrosion Testing Laboratories, Inc. in Newark, Delaware. This gives CPI a complete metallurgical lab, a non-metals analytical lab, a chemistry lab, and an electrochemistry lab. Our lab offers SEM-EDS, EIS, FT-IR, and IC, etc. With our lab, CPI now offers services for all of your testing needs.
