We are seeking an ambitious, results-oriented Director of Sales with great people skills who can lead, recruit, train and motivate a winning sales team in the Northeast Region – PA, NY, NJ, MD, and New England states.
This dynamic role will allow you to capitalize on your background in management as you will be responsible for developing high performance coatings sales representatives and stimulating sales growth and profit margins for our product line. Other responsibilities including maintaining personal contact, selling and servicing major accounts within your assigned area, investigating and analyzing customer needs, market trends and competitors’ positions in in the market space to develop and implement regional sales strategies, preparing annual/monthly sales forecasts, participating in the determination of market potential for the preparation of regional sales budgets, and managing a P&L.
As our successful sales director, you will need a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, 10-15 years of outside sales experience, and 5-7 years Supervisory or Management experience. Industrial coatings experience and familiarity with selling to key Carboline industrial markets is required.
