Traveling Foremen for the Mid-West and Mid-South regions of the US – 4 Open Positions Allen Blasting and Coating, Inc. is a premier SSPC QP qualified painting and coating contractor committed to providing a safe and rewarding environment for our employees and delivering a competitively priced, high quality finished product. Allen Blasting and Coating, Inc. serves heavy agra-industries such as corn milling and other grain processing facilities, other food and consumable product processing facilities where customer expectations for occupational safety, GMP’s and cleanliness are high. We also serve clients with tank farms, pipelines, irrigation districts (siphon tubes) and manufacturers of equipment and durable goods. Our services include a variety of surface and substrate preparation capabilities including abrasive blasting and blasting with other solids such as sodium bicarbonate, sponge, and steel shot, ultra-high pressure water blasting, all types of power tool and hand methods. Our coating services include but are not limited to tank linings, floor toppings, industrial coatings, painting, ceramic insulation, and more. ABC is an SSPC, QP-1 Quality certified contractor and has earned a reputation for performing high quality, safe work at the best value. Allen Blasting and has immediate openings for Traveling Foremen for the Mid-West and Mid-South regions of the US. Responsibilities include leading crews in blasting (abrasive and hydro) and painting and coating operations in the field; Safety and Health of crew; Site administrative duties and solicitation of work from Department heads. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience required 3 of which should be in a supervisory position. Hands on experience with abrasive blast operations, lead removal, tank coatings and linings, rigging, airless, conventional and plural component spray painting. A proven record of running safe and productive teams. Experience with Quality Assurance tools and reporting and safety leadership and discipline.. Must be proactive in handling any site issues including equipment, materials, customer complaints, personnel, etc. Must have positive attitude and exceptional problem solving ability. Experience with all equipment used in abrasive blasting and spray painting operations at industrial facilities. Ability to demonstrate a “team-work” attitude and motivate crews bringing quality result jobs in on-time and on-budget. Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, customers, safety personnel and quality control personnel. Ability to assist in safety and technical training of workers. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
