This role is responsible for: Contacting new and existing customers to discuss their needs and how these needs could be met by specific products offered by Sunbelt Rentals Pump and Power services; collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale products (air conditioning, heating, dehumidification, etc) and provide sales support; provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment and confer with customer and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
The ideal candidate for this role will preferably have experience in/with: specialty equipment (desiccant dehumidifiers, direct expansion air conditioners, portable diesel generators, chilled water air conditioners, electric, and indirect fired heaters); HVAC; 2-3 years of rentals or service industry experience; 4-5 years outside sales experience or undergraduate degree with 2-3 years outside sales experience; working with the United States Naval Shipyards; sales and marketing----knowledge of principals and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services and general understanding of psychometrics.
