Key Responsibilities: Responsible for managing a group of Protective & Marine Coating sales professionals to sell existing or new SBU products to customers within a geographic area and/or an industry sector. Establishes sales goals as well as customer tactics and strategy and establishes special deals beyond normal established pricing lists and terms and conditions. Works within an established budget. May assume account manager responsibilities for special customer accounts within their area of responsibility. Coordinates the relationship between customers, upper PPG management, the distribution function, Credit and other PPG functions as needed. Occasionally assists in the resolution of customer issues with manufacturing locations.
