Job Classification: Contract
A mid sized manufacturer in the Crystal Lake, Illinois area is looking to add a second shift to their work force. This company manufactures industrial sized fans that can weigh up to several tons. The second shift crew will be working from roughly 3:30pm - 12am. The company is adding the second shift due to consistent increases in production. After the company is able to catch up on orders all qualified second shift candidates will be moved to a first shift. The position they are looking to hire for immediately is an industrial painter with material handling experience. Interested candidate should ONLY apply if they meet the requirements below:
-previous experience in a paint/finish department in an industrial setting
- previous Use of spray booth and spray equipment
-knowledge of paints and paint waste removal
-able to operate forklift and overhead crane
- a minimum of 2+ years experience is preferred
-must be able to speak and read English
-must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Pay rate would be based on experience, but probably in the range of $12-15/hr.
This person will be working in the paint booth, spray painting industrial sized fans. They will be using spray paint and an industrial paint machine. Candidates need to have prior experience doing industrial painting because they have to clean up and mix paint accordingly. When they're not busy in the paint booth, this candidate would have to work in their assembly department. Because of that they need to be mechanically inclined.
