Sr. Storage Administrator Job Description:

The Senior Storage Administrator provides technical services to our hosted software solutions. The position requires someone that is detail oriented with a strong desire to provide exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing large storage environments and delivering life cycle management of large volumes of data.

Job Details:

• Data life cycle management; provide metrics of project data and movement of data based on project requirements using tiered or offline storage
• Active monitoring of storage areas to avoid project/share storage contention and capacity planning
• Collaborate with our eDiscovery Application and Hosting teams for optimizing storage infrastructure
• Participate in escalated incident management and solving problems in a cross team environment
• Configure and implement multiple NetApp Cluster Mode HA pairs in multiple locations with bi-directional snapshot replication capabilities
• Play key role in planning/implementation of future Disaster Recovery strategy
• Work with and optimize CIFS NFS iSCSI and FCoE protocols in multiple settings
• Migrate CIFS data from legacy NAS environments
• Optimize NFS based de-duplicated storage for VMware on NetApp 6280 Cluster Mode HA Pair and NetApp 3240 Cluster Mode HA Pair
• Define data life cycle and cold data storage options moving forward
• Other projects and tasks as required
