Amercoat Canada, the licensed Canadian manufacturer/distributor of PPG Amercoat  Sigma Protective & Marine Coatings, seeks a Sales Engineering Representative to work with consultants and end user accounts in the development of coating specifications for Canadian and overseas projects. The Representative would also provide regional technical support for distributor sales, as well as develop key direct accounts for sales of specialty coatings, linings, fireproofing and surfacers in Western Canada.

Candidates should ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience in the protective coatings industry and be based in the Calgary area. NACE or SSPC certifications would be an asset as well as a technical degree or diploma. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel. They should also be proficient in writing, public speaking and display strong and effective interpersonal skills. Candidates with a work history in specifying, recommending or selling protective coatings are encouraged to apply.
