Polyguard’s Pipeline Division has experienced substantial growth over the last 5 years. Polyguard as a company is in its 20th consecutive year of sales growth. RD-6, our non-shielding pipeline coating which is both unique and patented, has become an industry standard. Additionally, a series of new products are in development; one is currently ready for introduction.
We need an experienced technical sales person who understands how to promote technically superior products. The right candidate will be a self starter with 5+ years sales experience, have relationships within the energy industries, have good communication skills, and have the ability to help the corrosion community understand the unique advantages of Polyguard’s products. You will give sales presentations, attend tradeshows, coordinate product demonstrations, and help introduce new products. We are an employee owned company with high standards. This is a highly visible role, reporting directly to the VP of Pipeline. This position is based in Houston, TX. Compensation package is dependent upon your qualifications and experience.
Notes: US Residents Only. Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: You will enjoy working at Polyguard. In addition to 401k plan, there is also an Employee Stock Ownership Program; the ESOP currently owns approximately 70% of the stock. Because of this, you will work with a strong, long tenure, and committed group of fellow employees.
• 5+ years sales experience with an emphasis on technical sales
• Strong focus on new business vs. account management (hunter vs. farmer)
• Knowledge of shielding versus non-shielding coatings preferred
• Self starter
• CP background is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically
