Account Manager (AM)
The AM is a leadership role for the Field Organization, responsible for managing the contracted Scope of Services to the client(s) as assigned. The AM must ensure quality customer service and product delivery, with a primary focus on setting, meeting and achieving financial goals. Assuring the excellent delivery of RightSourcing’s client service: staffing desk, payroll, compliance, business development and empowerment and leadership of RightSourcing staff, is the fundamental function of the AM.
This position is a position of Senior Management within RightSourcing and focuses on a fine balance between operational and business development emphases. The AM works closely with the Sales team, Implementations, Employee Development and Training, Quality, Operations, RightSourcing Corporate officers, RightSourcing Corporate office, to ensure RightSourcing’s financial interests are met and exceeded.
The AM directly manages RightSourcing’s On-Site Program Managers (OPM) to ensure adequate management support to the on-sites is provided at all times. Through the OPMs, the AM assures the consistent flow of communication, training, identification of best practices, employee management, client needs, adherence to contractual obligations, adherence to RightSourcing policies and procedures, etc.
This position assumes direct interactions with senior client contracts for problem resolution as well as the promotion of business development initiatives.
Job Functions and Duties
? Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all RightSourcing product lines along with day to day on-site and off-site strategic and operational functions that are required to service clients
? Through exposure to existing service offerings and knowledge of client needs, initiate discussions to introduce and promote new RightSourcing products/services
? Maintain ongoing knowledge of RightSourcing’s service delivery expectation to assigned accounts according to the contracted scope of services
? Initiate and manage service environments that are professional, best in quality and with high standards of ethics and efficiency. Initiate and participate in the continuous improvement initiatives
? Maintain the respect of the client’s culture, environment, facilities, policies and employees
? Ensure that all field personnel obtain the necessary training for success
? Plan and oversee the execution of financial goals for each account
? Promote and support career development plans for field personnel
? Pro-actively plan field workforce strategies by working closely with the Sales team to anticipate new business growth
? Provide support to the OPMs and entire field organization as needed
? Communicate, implement and enforce RightSourcing and corporate initiatives to the field organization
? Partner with the Sales team and assist by participating in prospective client presentations, sales calls, engaging in direct conversations with prospective clients, as needed

? Manage the field personnel during new client implementations and act as the liaison between field personnel and Area Manager of Implementations, Sales Team, Systems and Development, RightSourcing Corporate officers, etc.
? Work closely with and endorse VP of Operations’ operational initiatives related to quality assurance, adherence to RightSourcing policies, reporting requirements, etc.
? Partner with the Employee Development Team to identify new training needs, promote existing offerings and continuously improve RightSourcing’s training initiatives
? Provide direction to the OPM’s in the development of presentations and relevant material for clients- i.e.: Annual Business Plan, Quarterly Reports, marketing plan, etc. Participate in the presentation as needed
? Manage RightSourcing’s Supplier Management ProgAM to meet RightSourcing’s strategic initiatives
? Provide direction and support to the Contracts Managers for supplier negotiations and client escalations
? Facilitate escalations related to supplier negotiations by ensuring RightSourcing is at minimal exposure financially and legally
? Develop and maintain progAM related materials and tools such as Marketplace Pricing, List of RightSourcing Suppliers, Supplier Management Process and Procedures, etc.
? Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
? 7 years of management experience that includes supervisory responsibilities of 10-15 direct reports
? Previous management experience in sales, staffing industry branch operations, HR/Recruiting, and customer service is preferred
? Knowledge of developing and presenting performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, establishing and managing performance goals and objectives
? Ability to work with confidential issues
? Experience managing sales revenue of at least $10M
? Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, interpersonally, and in presentations. Able to interact and communicate with all levels of management and staff
? Must have excellent problem solving, critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills and ability to multi-task
? Working knowledge of: desktop computers and MS Office Suites- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet access, fax, copiers, phones, and other office equipment needed for the position function
? Able to lift up to 20 pounds, bend, stoop, sit at desk for extended periods of time, and to move about from building to building
? Working knowledge of labor and employment laws
? Process improvement experience
? Experience with client interface, aware of organizational culture differences
? Training of direct reports
Typically, the Area Manager of Field Services works in a corporate office environment. Must be able to travel for short or extended periods of time RightSourcing client locations, or to other business locations related to business.
