Manpower is looking for a gel coat spray technician for a company located in St. Lucie County. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience applying gel coat or other coatings utilizing a spray gun on large parts. This is a 3rd shift position and may require some overtime on occasion.
• Responsible for setting up, operating and shutting down gel coat guns and pumps
•Responsible for spraying gel coat in an even mill thickness. Know each part's mill requirements
•Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment
•Perform mold maintenance operations when needed
•Ability to lift 10 to 20 lbs without assistance
•Requires basic mathematical skills
•Responsible for meeting production schedule
•Responsible knowing chemicals, their dangers, safety procedures, mixing procedures and time limits
•Ability to work independently or as a team member
