Field Division Manager
Goodwest has been installing specialty industrial linings and coatings for the water, power, oil, chemical, mining, steel, and other infrastructure-related industries for over 50 years. We have a large facility in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and perform contract field work all over the western United States. Goodwest is a service-oriented company that is growing rapidly and looking for a key part to their ambitious and talented management team.
The successful Field Division Manager will report directly to the VP of Operations and be responsible for management of all field work, which can include a total of five to twenty employees working on one to three projects simultaneously. Project sizes typically range from $10,000 to $500,000. The Field Division Mgr. ensures that each project is completed safely, with exceptional quality, within budget, and with complete customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Communicate with, motivate, and lead work crews effectively.
-Work and live on the road for 6+ months per year.
-Analyze potential safety hazards and recommend hazard control procedures.
-Financial analysis of jobs through labor and expense tracking.
-Resolve problems and issues directly with customer management.
-Work with VP Operations to establish job schedules and balance personnel allocations for various jobs.
-Analyze and ensure compliance with detailed specifications and contracts.
-Possess proficient writing skills for communication via email.
-Manage, estimate, and submit change orders.
-Manage customer billing.
-Make travel arrangements for employees.
-Coordinate equipment deliveries and procure materials and supplies.
-Ability and willingness to learn technical aspects of corrosion protection.
-Industrial corrosion protection experience a plus but not required.
-$70,000 - $90,000 annual salary including performance based bonus
