Early results indicate the importance of a coating's permeation resistance to sewer gases as well as acids.

in pipeline protection that were discussed at the 18th International Conference on Pipeline Protection in Belgium last November. Primary topics included fusion-bonded epoxy coatings,
three-layer polyolefin coatings, field joint coatings, and the rehabilitation of existing pipelines.
